Beef Pricing:

Beef 1/2 side, custom cut: $5/lb hanging weight, cost is ~$1500-1750 and will yield ~170-200 lbs of beef cuts
Beef 1/4 side, custom cut: $5/lb hanging weight, cost is ~$750-900 and will yield ~85-100 lbs of beef cuts
Beef should dress out at 59-65%, then weight will decrease 5-10% during the aging process due to moisture loss, and depending on how much is trimmed, there should be 40-45% of retail cuts. To make math easy, a
1000 lb steer should have ~600 lb hanging weight, and yield 400 lbs of retail cuts.

These are all quality that we'd be happy to keep if our pastures allowed it.  All are handled at birth and our herd is on an appropriate vaccination/deworming/ectoparasite schedule.  We have a calm, happy herd that is used to being handled.  If you see a cow or calf you are interested in, but is not on our sales page, please inquire and we will try to get a fair price.  We are happy to make package deals as well.  We support FFA and 4H and are happy to let youths lease any of our heifers or steers to show.  We love our animals and hope you do too! Thank you!
