#24 Gypsy's Devine Sire: Black Angus Dam: #7 Gypsy's Southern Penny DOB: 7/22/2016 This little one could be said to be of immaculate conception (much like #1 Eleanor had #4 Firecracker), but our fences were down during a rain and our neighbor's calves ran with our herd for a few days last fall. Our bull was penned up to prevent summer births, and the calves were all supposed to be too immature to breed. That was not the case, and by the time it was discovered, it was too late! So here is our beautiful 1/2 black angus, 1/2 red beltie baby! Her dam is so small framed, we were beside ourselves with worry, but Penny had no problems having her 1st calf! SOLD! |
#16 Blackie Sire: LimFlex Bull Dam: #4 Firecracker DOB: 3/31/2015 Her sire is registered, but I do not know his name. His full sister was the LimFlex state champion heifer a couple years ago. She has been vaccinated for Bangs. Selling because we have too many females. She will make someone a nice commercial cow with her fancy form. At 8 months old, she was larger than all of our Beltie cows. SOLD to Jeff in Shawnee, OK |

Gloucestershire Old Spot Pigs
Originating in the Berkley Vale of Gloucestershire during the 1800s, the GOS was bred to lounge around in the orchards of England, where its sole responsibility was to clean up fallen fruit. The breed became rare after World War II, when the shift to intensive pig production reduced interest in grazing pigs. Due to its supreme laziness, GOS meat is very delicate – even its fat is edible and milky. Old Spots carry a distinct layer of backfat and marbling within their meat, making them the bacon pig of choice for many. They are listed as critically endangered by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. They should be ready to process in mid fall 2016. The kids have named them Allen and Marcy, but that is subject to change! They have a scheduled processing date of Jan 10, 2017! Estimated price will be ~$400 per half pork ($4/lb hanging weight). Of the two pigs, only 1/2 is remaining available for sale. SOLD to Sereta and Alitha in Norman, OK |

#23 Gypsy's Demaris (registration pending) Sire: #14 Aavalon Farm Dunbar (#36219-B) Dam: #9 Legacy Helena 10A (36840-B) DOB: 5/29/2016 Tattoo: GYP6D This is a very sweet little heifer that should make a great cow. She has a few white hairs in between her toes on her back right foot, which is visible when you flip her on the tilt table. Good mind, not yet halter broke. Full, even belt. Video 1 Video 2 SOLD to Lydia in Greenville, TX |
#18 Gypsy's Annabelle (39413-B) Sire: #14 Aavalon Farm Dunbar (36219-B) Dam: #8 Legacy Tiffany (36854-B) DOB: 8/5/2015 This is a very nice heifer with a wide correct belt. Not halter broke, but has worn a halter. We are/were planning on having my daughter show her, but I'm a little overwhelmed with the ranch right now, so if I can sell her to the right home, I will. UTD on vaccinations and boostered. Has an RFID tag as well. SOLD to Lydia in Greenville, TX |
#20 Gypsy's Delilah (registration pending) Sire: #14 Aavalon Farm Dunbar (#36219-B) Dam: #9 Legacy Wanda 12Z (36838-B) DOB: 3/4/2016 Tattoo: GYP2D This heifer has a touch of white on her left hind foot, which was extremely disappointing. This mis-mark does not disqualify her for purebred registration. She has an excellent straight frame, this the decision to make her beef has been reconsidered. SOLD to Michelle in Joshua, TX! |
Ruby Sire: #14 Aavalon Farm Dunbar (#36219-B) Dam: #1 Eleanor (Beefmaster) DOB: 5/15/2016 After a bout of mastitis during the drought when we had to feed fescue, Eleanor's calves always need to be bottled. This little heifer was sold 30 minutes after she was born after she was given colostrum. She is doing great! SOLD to Brooke in Norman, OK! |
#15 Gypsy's Otto (39412-B) Sire: Highland Farm Otto (5997-B) Dam: #2 Moore's Crossing Pansy (31740-B) DOB: 3/16/2015 This bull calf is very nice, however he was in a fairly major scuffle with our main herd bull In November 2015. He is healed, and is in the steer fattening pen, but I'm not confident he can be shown successfully. He is halter broke, but he is not easy to catch. He would make a good herd bull due to his champion pedigree. |

#3 Moore's Crossing Hibiscus (31742-B) Sire: Moore's Crossing Glen Luce (10969-B) Dam: Moore's Crossing Michelle (22602-B) DOB: 6/14/2009 This very sweet girl was too fat for words. We tried 3 different bulls and AI'ing her twice with induced ovulations. We also tried starving her to get her weight down. It was a very difficult decision to sell her. She was special, so we were fortunate enough to find her a pet home where she would be appreciated for her beauty. |
